Rebecca McKinnell, Curator at the Ohio State Reformatory, will share the history of the local prison that housed inmates for nearly a century and later served as a filming location for nationally acclaimed films, such as the perennial favorite, The Shawshank Redemption. We will also hear about notable people involved with the Reformatory, as well as plans for improvements to the structure and grounds.
